Billy Joel and Bruce Springsteen to Perform Together

Rock legends Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel will share the concert stage for the first time October 16th at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City in a benefit for Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama. Other “exciting guests” that are expected to perform at the benefit which is scheduled the night of the third presidential debate. Balcony tickets for the concert have a $500 face value.

Jonas Brothers Announce Additional Concerts

The Jonas Brothers have announced two concerts for the fall.  Currently, the Jonas Bros will play San Diego on November 15th and Las Vegas on November 29th.  Tickets for both concerts go onsale Saturday, October 4th.

Led Zeppelin Reported to Perform in Concert in 2009

UPDATE:  Robert Plant has posted on his official web site that he will not be touring the next two years  and has no plans to record with Led Zeppelin, in an effort to squash Led Zeppelin reunion rumours.

Singer Robert Plant has finally caved in, according to UK tabloids, and will rejoin the legendary hard rock band Led Zepplin on a summer 2009 concert tour. 

According to the UK Sun, Plant agreed after the three other members of the band reportedly began auditioning lead singers to possibly fill in for Plant on a concert tour. 

Few datails are available however Plant’s concert tour with Allison Krauss ends next week and an official confirmation may be issued soon after.
